Your property, looked after when you’re not there
Someone goes, on a set schedule. Every visit photographed, every visit written up. Documentation you can actually see — not reassurance.
The reality
When you’re not there, you’re relying on trust alone
Owning a home you don’t live in full time usually means depending on several different people — a housekeeper, a caretaker, a neighbour, a rental programme, whichever contractor was available. Most of the time, it works.
The difficulty is knowing. Information arrives late and second-hand. Small things go unmentioned until they are no longer small. And when you ask whether something was actually taken care of, the honest answer is often that nobody can really say.
That gap isn’t about honesty. It’s about no one having clear responsibility for the property as a whole.
Where we work
Two coastlines, one standard
Property care is inherently local. It depends on knowing the communities and how access works in each one, on being able to reach a home quickly, and on understanding what owners in that market actually expect.
So Veyra works in a small number of places properly, rather than a wide area thinly. The standard is the same in both. What differs is what the coast does to a house.

The approach
What professional property care means
Veyra is built around three principles rather than a fixed list of tasks. What a property actually needs varies; how it should be handled does not.
Accountability
One professional point of contact who is responsible for following through — someone you know by name, who answers when you call, and whose job is your property rather than one task on it.
Documentation
Clear visibility into what is happening at the property. You should be able to see the condition of your home and the work carried out, rather than being told about it after the fact.
Coordination
Someone local making sure things do not disappear between vendors, cleaners, managers and owners. Arranging access, following up, and closing the loop so it isn't yours to chase from abroad.
In practice
What that involves depends entirely on the property. For most owners it means keeping an eye on the home while they’re away and documenting its condition, coordinating cleaning or maintenance when it’s needed, having the house ready before they arrive, and making sure anything that comes up is followed through locally rather than left.
For owners who rent, it can extend to the standards and turnaround their guests expect. Some properties need a great deal of attention and others very little.
The arrangement is set with you, around your home — not chosen from a list.
How it works
Straightforward, and built around your property
- 01
We learn how you use the property
A conversation about the home, how often you're there, how it's used, and what actually concerns you. Every owner's situation is different.
- 02
We agree on what needs attention
We define the scope together rather than fitting every owner into the same package. You know exactly what is and isn't included.
- 03
Veyra looks after it locally
Professional execution on the ground in your market, with one accountable person responsible for the property.
- 04
You can see what happened
Documentation and proactive communication, so you have visibility from wherever you are — including when everything is exactly as it should be.
Our operating principle
Proof, not promises
Looking after someone’s home from a distance should never require blind trust. Anyone can say a property is fine.
So we record what happens at your property and share it with you — visits documented, work shown as completed, and anything that needs your attention raised when we find it, not discovered on your next visit.
One person stays accountable for your home. The documentation exists so you never have to wonder.

Who Veyra is for
Owners who aren’t always here
What each owner needs differs, and the arrangement is shaped accordingly.
Owners who are away for long periods
The house sits empty for weeks or months and you would rather not think about it while you're gone.
Second-home owners
You visit through the year and want the property genuinely ready when you arrive — not opened up in a hurry.
Owners renting the property themselves
You handle your own bookings and need the property properly looked after, with someone accountable when something goes wrong.
Newly purchased and newly completed homes
You've just taken delivery or closed, you're not here full time, and you want it cared for properly from the start.
About
Why Veyra exists
Veyra was created from firsthand experience with what happens when an owner isn’t there — coordinating cleaners and maintenance, managing turnovers, keeping owners informed, and dealing with the problems that tend to surface at the worst possible moment.
That experience comes from operating a vacation-rental and property-management business in Florida, and it made one thing plain: owners don’t need more reassurance. They need someone accountable nearby who can show them what is actually happening at the property.
Veyra is a separate company built around that idea — deliberately boutique, and organised around a small number of homes looked after properly rather than a large number looked after loosely.

The first conversation is about understanding your property — how it’s used, how it’s currently looked after, and where you could use more support.
There is nothing to commit to. If Veyra isn’t the right fit, we’ll say so.
